    Tommaso Vito Russo, Italian national, was born in Gallipoli (Le - Italy), on May 4th, 1969.

    Graduated from Faculty of Law of the University of Bologna in 1991. Attorney at law, member of the Italian Bar since 12.1.1995. Admitted to practice: Solicitor of the Italian Senior Courts since 8.3.2007. Managing Director of the Russo Law Firm, established in Lecce in 1967. Listed in the Register of Arbitrators of the Arbitration Court for public contracts, set up at the Authority on public contracts. Member of the list of Presidents of the National Chamber of Arbitration established at the Agriculture Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Forestal.

    Ph. D. Researcher in “I problemi civilistici della persona” - University of Salerno (2001) University Researcher of Private Law - University of Salento (2002). Associate Professor of Private Law - University of Salento Full Professor of Private Law since September 2010 - Faculty of Law at University of Salento, where he teaches also Islamic Transactional Law. He teached European Union Law and Law and Pratice of Project Financing Member of the Teaching College of the Doctorate in “I problemi civilistici della persona”, at the University of Sannio in Benevento. Member of “Società Italiana degli Studiosi del Diritto Civile”. (Italian Society of Civil Legal Scholars) Director responsible and member of the Directing Board for the law journal “Le Corti Pugliesi” published by Edizioni Scientifiche Italiane (ESI) in Napoli.
